Q: Where is Rj Link located?
A: Rockford, Illinois. Located just N.W. of Chicago on I-90,
it is a major manufacturing and distribution center in the Midwestern US.

A: Rj Link International, Inc. has been in business since 1993.

A: Caterpillar, Stewart & Stevenson,
Christianson Systems, Tucker SnoCat, Durand Wayland, Speed Fam, IR-Bobcat,
Electrolux, Ackermann Inc., Supreme International, and Trackmobile.

Q: What types of gearboxes do you manufacture?
A: Quite a variety. We produce engine mounted and free-standing speed reducers
and increasers. We offer pump
drives, transfer cases, multiple speed gearboxes, right angle and planetary drives.
Any of our existing designs can be modified to suit a customer's specific
application.

Q: Do you design gearboxes?
A: We design solutions. The gearbox designs provide the ultimate enhancement to
fulfill the customer's application. We
use the latest industry-standard, state-of-the-art tools, such as UTS gear
design software, TK solver, the Fairfield Gear
Analysis program, and the Pro-E solid modeling CAD system.

Q: Will you manufacture gearboxes from our design?
A: Yes, we are happy to provide this service and do so for a number of
OEMs. We will produce these to the same high quality standards that you would expect had they been made in your facility.

Q: How do you maintain your high quality standards?
A: We are ISO 9001 registered and have a Quality
Control Manager responsible for overseeing implementation of our quality plan.

Q: What is your manufacturing capacity?
A: We
designed our plant to allow us to double or even triple our output without
requiring physical expansion. As a
result, we can complete orders for one unit or hundreds.
We offer one source capabilities to go from prototyping to full
production. This way the customer
can stay with a known quality supplier throughout the life of the project.

Q: How are gearboxes prepared for shipment?
A: We have a dynamic test stand. Units are run at normal operating speeds. This allows us to check for noise, leaks, heat levels, etc.

A: We are very competitive. Our low overhead and rigorous processes allows us to maintain our high degree of quality and still offer lower prices.
