A customer came to Rj Link Int. with a gearbox, brake clutch package that needed repair or replacement. The Rj Link team went through and did a cost analysis to determine the extent of repair necessary. The team also compared the cost of the repair versus replacement costs to give the customer another option. After the customer reviewed the summary of the analysis that Rj Link provided, it was decided that the unit was best suited for replacement.
The customer decided to use the salvageable parts for a future application, and decided with this application to move forward with a new clutch package matched up with a Rj Link gearbox. The solution exceeded the customer’s expectations, and additional solutions were offered for future repair and field service work.
