Rj Link Int. has been seeing increased requests for retrofit units as more companies are looking for service components when designs are no longer available. Some issues that might need to be addressed are leak and/or vibration issues, or there could be a need to increase speed and/or torque. The footprint is important, as the input and output will still have to connect in the same place. Companies are looking for a retrofit gearbox solution that will fit in the same spot, and one that will be lighter weight with an extended life and better efficiency. Finding a solution to an existing package is often a more appealing option than to make changes on existing equipment.
